Ambassadors Institute Mission
Ambassadors Institute Programs serve the Southeast Michigan population to educate adults in a safe and supportive environment. Ambassadors Institute Programs exist to foster student learning through high-quality, career-oriented education. Ambassadors Institute Programs enable students to achieve their highest potential personally, spiritually, and professionally. Ambassadors Institute Programs promote educational excellence, quality, and safety using the methods of student-centered and adult learning principles. The principles of student-centered learning are an iterative process (repeated) intertwined throughout the curriculum. Ambassadors Institute Program respects diversity and encourages accountability to self, patients, and society.
Core Values
We believe education functions better when the learner and teacher have a relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. We believe this shared relationship recognizes the diverse needs of the learner and empowers the learner to achieve their highest potential. The faculty becomes the leaner’s guide, director, and supporter. Our goal is for the learner to go down their path of knowledge and revelation through learning.
Faculty members facilitate students’ learning experiences to foster their ability to meet program outcomes and objectives. Program values are -Faith, Excellence, Integrity, Caring Service, Diversity, and Teamwork.
Faith. Knowing that a higher power – God gives us the ability to be consistently focused and purpose-driven with a tenaciously that motivates our learning behavior; is the key to success. Our faith translates our actions into meaningful growth.
Excellence. We challenge everyone to perform at a consistently high level through continuous quality improvement. Mediocrity only highlights the need to improve.
Integrity. Integrity Is displayed by treating others with honesty and respect during every interaction. We are being dependable and consistent in our behavior.
Caring Service. Creating an environment that encourages maximum personal and professional growth that helps students succeed.
Diversity. Fostering a culture of inclusiveness that values individual differences, gives voice to all in the school community, promotes the free exchange of ideas based on merit, and encourages a global perspective.
Teamwork. Team workers understand that the team’s efforts are more effective than one single person. It knows that everyone has something to contribute to a group. An Individual’s contribution creates an interdependent link that combines with other individuals’ relationships to accomplish a goal.
Ambassadors Health Care Mission
We transform the lives of our students by empowering them to maximize their potential. We want our students to be competent and compassionate health care practitioners who understand that nursing is based on a relationship-centered, caring environment. This environment is grounded on the systematic application of specialized knowledge and skills acquired through comprehension, application, and analysis of all the sciences that are components of the nursing practice. With the patient as the center of all that we teach, our student focuses on the care linked to a continuum of care, health maintenance, prevention, and patient education.

Founder / Owner
Patricia Felton is an Educator with a passion for learning. Patricia’s life purpose is to make a difference in the lives of those she meets. Patricia combines her education knowledge into her role as a leader, teacher, and mentor. Since her first experience as a manager at 27 years old, she has worked in many leadership roles, from manager to department head to top executive leader in the healthcare industry, as well as an educator, Adjunct Faculty at several major universities, and part-time at several vocational schools. Patricia has been a Registered Nurse for over forty years.
